no matter her fitness this could be brutal for kuznetsova, she's russian for
christ's sake.

serena might take it easier but still it won't be easy to play, not even for
her.

So is Dementieva. She handled 39 degrees alright.

People ought to just settle down.

Actually his balls are far away from the heat.

That's one of the more ridiculous statements I've come across in RST,
and that's saying something. How many degrees hotter do you think she

It must be tough for tall guys like Karlovic for this reason, since his head
is closer to the sun ;)

You're not good at physics?

In troposhere ie <10 000 m, the temperature drops off as we go up.

So it's would be oposite of what you said.
Uusually it has no effect as the difference in the gradient is neglible,
it's not actually "cooler" 10 cm up, but I suppose in this cas, it echanges
when you have a ground surface which isn't "neutral" and absorbs heat
extensively.

That's one of the more ridiculous statements I've come across in RST,
and that's saying something. How many degrees hotter do you think she
is for that reason?

***

I don't know, it requires a complex formula, but surely you agree *it is*
hotter?
So the statement isn't ridiculous at all imo.

Er, by one or two millidegrees maybe?

Anyway, Kuznetsova was not happy when she was told the roof would be closed,
which means she was feeling good, not wilting. She'll be livid now because
she'll believe that Serena would not have had the energy to come back in that
heat. She does not need RST posters to decide what's good for her.

I was not deciding anything.
40 degrees in to much and it shouldn't be played while it's hot as much.
And it wasn't played.

What you're saying, with extreme conditions removed, and all back to talent,
Kuznetsova had no chance?
Nice compliment for her.

Why not? You had an African-American, who should be able to cope with the heat,
against a Russian who wanted the heat.

What I'm saying is that Williams had no chance while conditions remained as
they were.

But you would think that the temperature drops off pretty significantly
centimeters above above the court, right? So yes, it is ridiculous.

yeah, but 40 >39

alslo kuznetsova is shorter than dementieva so her head is closer to the
ground where the surface temp. is way higher so it's got to be tougher for
her.

Yes but Kuznetsova is only 24 while Dementieva is already in her 29th
year. Or 30, or something...

LOL that must be some temperature gradient:)
