Subject: A couple of matches for Djokovic to study ...
... now that he has some time on his hands

Sampras v Corretja 1996 USO
Connors v Krickstein 1991 USO

Both Sampras and Connors had to be placed on IV drips after coming
through these matches. Did Djokovic after today's match?

They didn't quit ... Connors was 39 years old ... and Djokovic was
"defending" a Grand Slam title ...

It's pretty safe to say that Connors was *no quitter*,
hmm? I think the guy is grossly underrated, myself.
It's telling that JMac had trouble with Connors from
the beginning of his career, all the way to Connors's
Senior circuit. And with a f**ing T-2000...

I agree with you. Jimbo was a *unique* player and deserves a lot more
credit than he gets.

Connors' back had completely gone in that match and no-one could blame
him for retiring (at 38) after one point of the fifth set.

Djoker is 21 and it seems that he retired due to cramps and
"soreness" ...

He should study Chang-Connors FO 1991 match instead. (quit when you
are winning).
