Not to mention Cibulkova, who's already taken out about everyone in the
Top Ten except Serena at least once . . . .

Small but dangerous, like Chakvetadze and Schnyder and Zheng.

(I still chalk the Wozniacki loss up to post-Hopman fatigue and/or
letdown, although Caroline's apparently on a roll.)

I was thinking about that during today's match. I can now believe that
score could have happened without any fatigue or virus.

1 and 2? that's pretty stiff, against a player that just went completely
undefeated in the Hopman Cup, although admittedly the only gold-star she
faced and beat was Safina in the final (and if she hadn't started thinking
too much at the end, that might've ended up 6-7 6-1 6-1-- she made it all
the way to serving for the final set at 5-1).
