It looks good for Nadal. He won AO, has 85% chance to win FO, has 55%
winning Wimbledon and good chance winning USO with a good draw.

Here we go RahimAsif :)

If you like him for it, Betfair is offering 9 on Nadal winning 4 grand slams
this year.

Currently at Betfair odds for Nadal to win all four slams this year is
1/8 = 12.2%

wow better than Roger even had.

But I think Nadal's fan should be satisfied if he wins one more slam and
finishes as #1.

Because it's not a given, the tennis season is very long.

++ And given his ability, fitness, will, confidence and breakthrough
in Melbourne he should win at least the career grand slam... at his
age especially, injury notwithstanding...

Every time Nadal wins a match you had nothing to say except Nadal will
win every slam , Nadal will win CYGS, Federer will not win a match
again, etc.

Federer had three years where he had the chance to win CYGS, if
anybody said he will win it in the begining of the year and he managed
to pull it off, then what? means nothing.

If you are very sure, bet your life on it.

Of course, he might not. But the point is - its no longer thought of
as illogical or stupid to suggest it and some experts are doing so
already. I noticed the improvements in Nadal's game last year which is
why I suggested it back then. I don't see a huge improvement in
Nadal's game between end of last year and now - the big improvement
was from the French Open, which is why I suggested it after Wimby. By
the way, you were mostly fair on me - unlike some others...

No but don't you owe me an apology for suggesting something that
turned out pretty logical only a few months later? At the time, I was
called a troll, idiot and what not for suggesting the very same thing
that you now say "logically speaking it looks that way"...

lol, he did not win it yet, but I tell you what, if he did that I will
be happy for him and his achievement.

Logically speaking it looks that way but life usually has different
plans.

If I were Nadal I would seriously consider playing only the Masters
and the Slams and nothing else.

The funny thing is everyone was all over me when I made this statement
last year - now its become almost mainstream...

But you said it about so many players that it was hard to take it
seriously.

Different year and different circumstances. I would say the chances look
better this year but really too much can happen in a season to be able to
say he *will* win CYGS. More power to him if he can pull it off.

Dick Enberg and Patrick McEnroe agree with u :)
