For some reason I thought he wasn't going to, since he played Doha
this year. None of the other big three are playing.

I would venture if he does play, then he doesn't play at 100% ...

He's just ramping up to win the AO and needs to keep his raquet arm
warm but there will be no real effort. just practice. it *is* actually
good practice for a slam.

He will use Kooyong to work on different parts of his game. Expect
him to net rush more than usual.

Federer hasn't given a 100% effort in the tune-ups for some time now.
