Federer's breakdown during speech pretty much indicates he choked it
and lost it in the 5th set

Actually, he lost it at 4-4 30-40 in the third ;)

Yep, even if I do really believe that "modern" era tennis won't see
another CYGS soon.
Too many slam (actual or future/potential) winners on the track with
this pack.
If someone had to did it, Federer would have done it two or three
years ago.
Since Laver and until then, nobody was able to even claim the
possibility of doing it.
If Nadal can keep Wimby (for I hardly see him loosing at the french,
if fit) then I'll be forced to admit that two players since Laver
could have done it.
And that it is also very likely that they prevent each other from
doing it!

Fantastic moments for the tennis, really.
Having players like Federer & Nadal at the same time is blessing the
ATP tour.
Add Djokovic & Roddick (still near the top, but owned by Federer),
than add few more names having proved to play great at slam: Verdasco,
Murray, Tsonga, Simon, Monfils, Gasquet...

Can't wait to see the French!

Share & Enjoy,
Manolo

I think he can't believe that this Rafa kid appeared to stop him from
getting GS, CYGS and GOAT.
