Subject: Federer's comments after the match
Federer last performed the ultimate comeback in the 2005 Miami final
against Rafael Nadal. 'I tried to ride out the storm,' said the
second-seeded 13-time Grand Slam champion, 'In the first set there
wasn't a lot I could do.

'He did well and pushed me to the limit,' Federer said after a
struggle lasting almost four hours. 'But I was able to fight back. I
felt fine and could have gone another couple of sets out there
today.'

He looked fine to me as well. I actually thought he looked better than
the previous rounds as they were warming up. He may have just slightly
underestimated Berdych after routinely dispatching Safin.

Berdych was hot though, moving and playing a lot better than Marat and
Fed had a slow start. It was all uphill from there.
