what you think about her achievements?

Played 24 slams, made 22(!) slam finals, won 19 of them. Never went to
Australia.

And over the course of 16(!) years.
Kinda incredible, isn't it? Also stopped playing because of the dog bite her
finger off.

Raja types can tell us do they find her attractive etc.

She is a strong candidate for GOAT. When my formula comes out on my
website she is gonna be very high on the list. And yes, she was kinda
attractive. But they say she had a very boring personality.

A dog bit Whisper's dick off but it hasn't stopped him from being the
bottom man.

Maybe it's funny, maybe it's not, but the bottom line is - you're rude.

I don't think this is an apropriate level for a tennis newsgroup.

her accomplishments are awesome, but done so long ago when tennis was a
much smaller sport in terms of global participation that her results
really aren't comparable to open era achievements.

True, you're right.

This post reminds me again of what a rich history tennis has. Especially
on the women's side. But one point about tennis being a smaller sport.
Yes, it was, but it was the only real sport for athletic women in those
days. Today, many of the women who could have been top tennis players go
into other sports. In Wills Moody's day, the (admittedly very few) women
who wanted to play sports pretty much had to go into tennis.

That said, I don't dispute that there was much less competition in those
days, so we can't really compare Lenglen, Wills Moody, or even the more
recent Connolly to current players.

Tennis is still the most lucrative sport for women, Serena has not only
made the most prize money in tennis, she has made the most money in all
women's sport.
