ROTTERDAM: A week after winning the Australian Open with a fifth
consecutive victory over Roger Federer, number 1 Rafael Nadal hasn't
budged from his belief that he's still just the world's second-best
player.

"I'm getting tired of this question," said the top seed on Monday as
he opened with a loss in doubles alongside fellow Mallorcan Ignacio
Coll-Ruidavets at the Rotterdam Open.

"When someone has 13 grand slams and 14 Masters titles, there is no
discussion about who is the best," he said respectfully of number 2
Federer, who has not beaten him since the Shanghai Masters Cup in
November, 2007.

So why don't you like him?
He's just like you, a truth seeker, always speaks the truth etc.

Well, "is" is present tense. So, right "now", Rafa "is" better than
Fed.

I agree that Camp Nadal manages expectations exceptionally well, but
what else is Nadal going to say when asked point blank if he's a
better player than Federer? It's really the only answer he can give.
