Subject: If Nadal wins the AO he becomes the GOAT at only 22

22 years old, 6 grand slams in all 3 different surfaces. No other
player in HISTORY has managed to do that. I hope Nadal realizes that
this tournament is very important for him this year and unleashes hell
on the competition.

Interesting; you hate Pete even more than you hate Rafa. Or maybe
your real obsession is with Whisper?

i don't hate pete. he used to be my favorite until whisper incented me
to look deeper into his record and achievements at which time i
realized that while he was still a great he was not as great as he was
made out to be.

Pete LOST a lot. Sure he won the most slams but he lost the most too.
His record of 14/52 pales in comparison to Borgs 11/27 among many
other things which I have highlighted here over the years.

Whispers only answer is "losses don't count" but in fact they do and
he himself keeps quoting and going on about "other" peoples losses
like Fed's to disparage him. If loses don't count then he should STFU
about Fed's too !

What is really hilarious is how he keeps going on and on about Fed's
loss to Rafa at last year's FO. He really targets that and makes a big
deal about it but NEVER makes one of the fact that Sampras NEVER made
a single FO final and LOST EIGHT times in R1/R2. So ....

Whisper is a fucking hypocrite. Sampras is a loser who was also
totally lame on clay.

My view is that it is hard to choose a goat between Borg/Federer/Laver
at this point with Sampras being 4th at best ( maybe even 5th or 6th).

But, more and more I am leaning toward Federer. Only Rafa stopped him
from multiple CYGS and only just. He dominated for 4 years like nobody
else ever. He has shown his greatness on ALL surfaces and he is the
paramount of respect in the game both among the players and the
public.

Perhaps some are still not convinced but by the time he has reached
the age at which Sampras retired he will be so far ahead in slams even
the whispers of the world will have to agree no matter how hard he is
now trying to wish that won't happen, because it will.

so ya see, i don't hate pete but whisper does hate Fed and i am only
fighting back !

Anyone who considers the FACTs and not bullshit like 7543 realizes
that Sampras while good, was made to seem far better than he really
was by Madison Avenue and because he is American.

Prior to Sampras closing in on Emerson NOBODY absolutely NOBODY gave a
shit about his record of 12 slams. Now, after Sampras it is suddenly
the measure of everything ?

I say, fuck that noise, but if you want it that way Roger will also
capture that record and in the end ALL will agree he to be the
GREATEST TENNIS PLAYER OF ALL TIME !

Nothing and nobody can stop it. Not Sampras. Not Whisper. Not even
Rafa.

So in other words you are going to name him GOAT based on slams he may
win in the future.

that's all nadal has ..... cuda wuda ...

he has no hc credibility at all. just the opposite. BOTH Djokovic (AO
winner) and Murray (USO finalist) have far far more.

Plus Rafa has not beaten Fed on a HC in what 5 years ?

Long odds man. Very very long odds.

Good to see you have memory.
Other option to your answer below: both (Fed & Rafa) pass 14 Slams.

Sad to see yet-another-troll-using-a-new-alias-to-add-noise.
First time I see a post from "El dude", and, sadly it's just another
stupid & lacking of knowledge post.

How much noise is requiered to simply have signal impossible to hear?
Is RST reaching that turning point?

Share & Enjoy,
Manolo

But he was 23. Nadal is only 22. By the time Nadal is done with his
23rd year he could eventually win 10 Grand slams and all 4 GS
tournaments. If Nadal wins this Australian Open this he becomes the
official best player in history at 22.

This is like one of those qualified Fed 'records' that means fuck all in
the real world.

Wilander was 23 & he won 7 slams on all 3 surfaces - 3 on clay, 2 on
grass & 2 on HCs.

If he wins AO he'll be trying at USO a calendar year slam. If he manages
to do that then he will be very close to goathood.
