Subject: I'm impressed already with what Stefanki's done with Roddick
He spotted the main problem in their matches.

Roddick was so slow that it was way too easy for Fed to hit winners
from the
baseline. That left Roddick at such an extreme disadvantage that he
had to resort
to crazy tactics like charging the net at every opportunity.

The answer: get him to shed weight and get quicker so that he can win
some Nadal-like
scrambling points and give Fed a chance to make some sloppy errors.

Of course, if Fed plays near his best, it still won't matter because
Fed's way more talented, but
Stefanki has put new life in Andy's career and into his *rivalry* with
Fed, imo.

It's hard to see him winning, but I think he will make it close and
probably win a set.

But most importantly, Roddick is a factor again. With better fitness
and movement, I think he'll
get back in the top 5 and be a threat at Wimbledon and USO if he can
avoid playing Fed.

A squash of roddick is probably the best medicine Roger has had since
losing to nadal , I just hope Roddicks mounts some comeback here or
hes done.

And I should add: not get totally knackered by the end of the 3rd set
trying to scramble.
