Rafa leads 2-0, I don't think he can lose this one anymore, even though
Simon will still be competitive.

He's not mental clown like DelPotro or Berdych. Might even take a set.

you mean he's not a mental clown like all the guys fed won against ? i
get it.
how lucky fed is, to fit right into the time slot when every body were
clowns.
clown era started in 2003 and, depending upon whether fed wins more
slams or not, is either continuing or has ended.

pathetic, really !

I am just surprised that you give Simon credit for not folding to
Nadal. Something you have never given either Roddick or Hewitt in all
their matches against Federer. You never called the efforts of Roddick
and Hewitt "respectable" because they gave their best too.

I came here in 2005 so couldn't have commented on Wim finals 04, 05, USO 04,
etc.

Besides the comparison was Simon - Del Potro.

So, you think simon is better (mentally and gamewise) than roddick and
hewitt ?

Yes, that too.

Point is, Rafa is better, but Simon gave his best, and that's respectable.

of course it does. he's got andy (sampras on steroids and a big 12
slam winner) to face while rafa gets a free pass.

interesting, Simon comes from break behind in the third while in 2sets
deficit and now wins his serve and is 4-3 ahead as Nadal serves.

No, you're pathetic. And way off topic, aren't you?

Simon's beaten Federer multiple times, has a habit of coming back in the
matches etc, doesn't break under pressure easily, etc.
Enough evidence to say he's not a mental clown.

Simon's chance is gone - set point saved by Nadal and Simon played a
rubbish game to be broken just after

Del Potro didn't either, when he played Simon. He wasn't a clown in
that USO match.
