My most memorable insult in tennis was by Goran Ivanisevic to Mark
Woodforde, when he talked about his "shitty backhand" & when he said "If
I had kid, I'd show him a picture Mark Woodforde & tell him not to play
like that guy".

I don't understand. Geese do that? I have a flock of geese outside my
office - I've never seen that.

Though it's not really an insult, I like John Newcombe's comment about
Jimmy Connors after the 1975 Australian Open Final. From a Joel
Drucker ESPN.com column:

"With the match tied at one set apiece, Connors attempted to
ingratiate himself with the crowd by throwing a point when he felt
Newcombe was wronged by a call. Using this form of patronization as
motivation, Newcombe later said, "That's something a goose would do.
And the only thing to do with a goose is put it in the oven and cook
it.""

Agassi's "#1 should not look like as he has just fallen from the
tree" (about Sampras getting #1 1993).

Goran's press history obviously has an ultimate selection of memorable
quotes.

I like Rios being asked about his upcoming match with Muster, I think it was
at Rome, and Rios jus scoffed and said "[Muster] will be lucky to win four
games". And then proceeded to beat Muster 3 and 1.
