Only 4 of them have won 3 or more Oscars yet (Katherine Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Walter Brennan and Jack Nicholson) If you act in a classic and you give a marvellous performance better than anyone that year, you should win, regardless of whether it is your 10th Oscar.

May be she was good enough to win a nomination but not good enough to win it. I saw the Reader by the way and she was good in that. So she could win it this year. Her antics at the Golden Globes might have pissed off the Oscar voters though.
