He's been working on his fitness even more since then though, and at
this level he may

Best of five is different to best of 3. Murray is now favour to win AO that
put him under a lot more pressure than the other 3 main contender. Mind
you in USO Murray was not expected to be challenged by Melzer or Llodra,
Melzer took the first 2 sets from him and Llodra took him to four sets. So
it
is correct to say Murray need to save his energy by finish his early round
matches as soon as possible and he would not like to see a repeat of USO
when he had four long matches to get to the final.
