Federer on the amount different surfaces he won slams.

All time/Open era only Connors*, Wilander, Agassi and Nadal have won
slams on all 3 main surfaces.

And of course he's the greatest player ever played on clay, one of the
best if not the best all-surface player.

And he's the first player - in the Open Era at least - who can make a
strong case to being the best player
in the world on all THREE main surfaces in the game. Obviously it's
not Laver's fault there were only 2 surfaces in 1969, but still a nice
bit of trivia.

True. He's the first player ever reigning on all 3 different slam
surfaces. Guess that's why they're talking about cygs already...bit
premature though.
