What's with Nadal's constant eye-lock with his entourage ? I thought
Justine Henin was weird about that, but Nadal takes it to a whole new
level.

what now? are you not even going to allow him have that bit of
support?
with the whole arena rooting against him and practically the world
around him against him, that's what he needs every bit of that to keep
his competitive fire burning and not get cowered down.

Does it really matter so much? That is not why Federer lost.

Of course it matters. He's undisputed #1 now. We must start in earnest
seeking reasons to tear him down. :)

I can understand now why Fed's initial dominance caused a lot of hate, but
that doesn't make it right. Nor should Federer fans allow themselves to be
consumed by that nasty emotion for Nadal. I recognize Nadal's new brand of
"nuclear tennis" as undeniably effective. I just don't like it. Fed's
game/aesthetic is the ultimate to me and that will never change.
