I think day matches are better for big hitters. The courts are very
slow and they need some heat to put some life in them.

I would have thought that the courts continued to radiate heat for some
time after the sun goes down and would be at their coolest early in the
morning. No?

++ Good point... but the key issue for Djokovic seems to be his cardio
fitness... and running around in that heat and humidity burns him down
at a faster rate than the other top 10 guys... remember last year he
got a LOT of night matches... that did seem to aid his cause...
