Nadal won't be #1 this year and he wasn't last year either.

He CHEATS.

He certainly won't win the AO and I don't think he will win the FO
either. The end of Rafa is in sight/.

If he cheats then he should be a good chance to win it.

Looked to me that his backhand slice has deteriorated when pushed to his
bakhand. Can't keep it low. Fix that Rafa!

His serve and groundstroke punishability, floateribility (I make them up
as I type) on hc looks to be the same unfortunately since these days 2
of the slams are US Opens.

Today was not particularly good backhand day either.

I'd say that his backhand has improved a bit...and his volleys a lot.
Also comes up the net more to finish the points which is good. Poor play
today though.

Ok then, no problem.

If you must know I'm way more on the side of Palestinians here, or at
least against what Israel is doing. When ever there are hundred times
more casualties on one side that can't be called war.
I know that Hamas did shoot a few rockets which was completely
wrong...but that doesn't give right to take 1,5 million people
accountable for what happened...women and children etc.

These actions don't help a bit, hate just continues and grows stronger.
Perhaps they deserve each other...

I should have rephrased it - my point was that it's pretty dark there
the majority each day (this time of year).

("rephrased" - thinking of refrained)

No, actually I do know...I've probably hit too close to target with some
comment on Federer. So why wouldn't you quit being a pussy and talk

I know that most people drink when the sun goes down... when did the
sun last shine its glorious rays in Finland?

As Phil Hartman (as Frank Sinatra) would say, "Can't understand a

We all know Rafa is vulnerable on hard courts, but this was a nice
result for Monfils. Maybe finally ready
to realize his potential and be a top 10 player?

If he commits to playing more aggressively that really should happen
for him this year.

Monfils has Nadals number. He will never beat Monfils again. Monfils
will break Nadals legs on a HC and sprain his ankles on clay. Fat Dave
will come in in relief in October when Monfils gets tired and to
finish off Rafa.
