Can someone explain to me why Murray has a countable tournament in
Indianapolis with 0 points when he could have used the points
accumulated on other events he has participated in (Queens for example)?

You see he didn't play it, ie no round in which he lost but still awarded 0.
So he probably withdrew too late so it was counted in his total.

Some googling....and yes that was it.
