He needs to move closer.

He moved closer to the baseline in the 2nd set and this got him to
win the set.

yes Djoko seems to be suffering from the heat

He has shithouse groundies. What do you expect? You think he stepin
and hit winner straightaway. He cant. Unless Djoko fucks up, he is not
losing. Roddick is still in the game only because of his excellent
serving performance. Else it would have been a rout.

Roddick can win however by wearing the Djoker out as he is not able to
play all out for 5 sets in this treachorous heat.

Sorry for the error. They moved it because Dave said to, folks.

Thanks for correcting the mistake.

He's so far back he's often in the shade. Jim Courier mentioned in
commentary yesterday that the roof should be moved back so one player
is not hitting from shade to sunlight (and within minutes it was
done). It's happening again today.

It's at least six feets.
I have never seen Roddick staying that far, it seems it's the idea of
his new coach.

He will lose easily today if he doesn't change this losing plan.

Not just to return serve -- in baseline rallies as well. Djokovic just
swatted four straight forehand winners in the tiebreak, mainly because
he plays the points right on the baseline whenever possible, or even
inside it, whereas Roddick always stands four feet behind it.

Joe Ramirez

What the hell is Roddick doing standing that far?!
He has no control on the court and rallies at all.
