Subject: Simon / Monfils, uneasy to play versus a friend...
Both seems to fear to be the one who "open fire" first.
They're aware of each others counter-stricke talents.
Simon dares a bit more at the end of the set, Monfils was the to
break...
Lesson one: be agressive at the better moment: Simon 6/4 first set.

Funny incident, hope you'll find this on YouTube soon... (no spoiler!)

This match was a joke. It seemed like both players were afraid to hit
the ball.

How do you know, sonce you find both unbearable to watch, moron?

Head case & nogame both beat #1 lately.
Better keep your tier1 anal-issues for yourself.
Anyway, who appart from whiskey is taking that tier1 analyst
seriously?
T1 stuff is more a joke around RST, check the posts.

Monfils 6/2 second set.
Much better passive-agressive mix from Gael.

About the unspoiled incident, even the umpire was having a laugh...
One not to miss.
Match quality has improved a lot since Monfils lost the opening set.
Still very tactical mind games between them, but more attacking tennis
as well

my impression of simon is that his main assets are his speed and
defensive play. but it's hard for me to understand how he got into
the top 10 if he doesn't have more than that; although he is very
quick.

i couldn't hear what the exchanges were but the players and the crowd
seemed to be getting a good laugh.

He got top 10 by cleaning up in MM & Masters events. He's a grand slam dud
so far. He will never make a slam semi - you heard it here first. It's my
Tier-1 analysis.

Well, don't talk either then, sounds more logical.
By the way, you missed turbo start from Monfils, 4/0 second set, Simon
kept his serve, so 4/1 now.

Monfils = head case, UFE machine
Simon = annoying Frenchie with no game

Both their games are hideous to watch live. Only in small highlight doses.
It makes me already pining for last night's Fed/Berdych match. I mean that
match was filled with howitzer shots, the way tennis should be.

I watched about 10 minutes, and turned it off. I can't watch those mugs.
