Roddick played five clean matches so far and his stats are very good,
look at the stats below.

One thing their match will be at night, so his serve won't fly the
same way it did against Djok.

Numbers entering the Aussie Open semifinals:

Aces Sets W-L Break points saved Break points
converted Winners Errors

Federer 58 15-2 5 of 8 28
of 49 195 135

Roddick 79 15-2 17 of 23 26 of
53 189 97

well, that's been Roddick's game plan since 2001. unfortunately, it
isn't enough.

he's been arguably too agressive in recent matches with RF. he needs
to come in less than he has since working with Connors.

I assume most people here expect it to be a fairly tough match. Not
sure anyone really wants
to go out on a limb and predict Roddick to win it or take it to a
close five sets though.

The only chance for Roddick is serve out of his mind and wait for the
tiebreaks to go his way. All this while Fed needs to be off.

it's going to be a battle. fed will win, but it will probably go 4 sets,
with most going 7-6 or 7-5. if andy can come up big near the end of the
sets (or get lucky) he could steal this match.

Federer loves it when his opponent hits the cover off the ball. He
feeds off pace the way carbon-based life forms feed off of the air.

Fish are carbon based too.

this was certainly obvious at the start of the match against del
potty.
