Subject: Thought Control at RogerFederer.com
I posted on RogerFederer.com. About five minutes later, my post was
edited and locked:
http://www.rogerfederer.com/en/fanzone/forum//topicview.cfm?uTopicID=26827

I mentioned that Rafa showed no signs of fatigue in the final.
Apparently you can't make that statement in RF's forum. Like the
Stalinists they are, they just took my remark out of the post.

As much as I have liked watching Roger over the years, his forum is
definitely run by black-shirted thugs.

I won't go back. Fuck those Nazis.

I did find something close enough ("Nadal tired... whatever"). You can
clearly read, so your true nature is being revealed. Plus they left
in a comment where someone say he played like a bitch (also quoted).
In my first response to this lie of censorship I included a link to a
lengthy thread entitled "...WILL ROGER BE ABLE TO LIFT IT UP GIVEN HE
IS FAT AND LAZY" as proof there isn't any censorship.

I tried to do a search there to see if someone did say that, but
unfortunately the forum search feature isn't sophisticated enough, or
I'm not using it right.
I browsed the thread on the final and quickly found this:
http://www.rogerfederer.com/en/fanzone/forum/topicview.cfm?uNC=38004406&uPage=301&uTopicID=26543
"As a fan of Roger's, it pisses me off how he plays like a bitch
against Rafa."
- and later on the same page:
"OMG I can't take it.
Nadal tired... whatever!!!"
-
(I think the thread was in the 3rd set at that point, but I'm not
positive...)
-
At that point I decided it was clearly a waste of my time to continue
looking any more for someone specifically suggesting that Nadal
didn't show signs of fatigue in order to disprove that lying notion of
censorship. That has been accomplished.

Are you seriously trying to argue that censorship didn't occur by saying you
couldn't find the post in question? LOL!

So you want me to bother the fans at rogerfederer.com with a post
suggesting that someone suggested Nadal didn't show signs of fatigue,
*and ask if anyone agrees with that (*that part to make a point of
conversation...), to prove such a suggestion would not get deleted?
No. I am not going to do that.

I don't get it. I don't know much about him. I saw Top Gun years
ago... In more recent history I saw a clip where he was at a game
with his girlfriend, and when he noticed a camera was on him he
started sort of dancing while standing there (at a sporting event...),
and acting like he was having a good time and was having a
conversation with his girlfriend. They were actually just standing
there, not talking, before he noticed. It made him look pretty silly.
Seems he's a bit self-obsessed. I'm just stating here the very little
I know about him, which isn't enough to know how I an any way remind
someone of him. Maybe if I had enough back story I'd find it
amusing...

Wow. Since you say what you haven't seen, then you must have been
watching, which means you are aware I haven't been posting ANYTHING
here at all previously. So are you saying you think I just came here
for the purpose of this? Do a Google groups search for other posts by
me, and you will find a couple recent posts here, and a question about
MS Word from Dec 3, 2008. That should help you with your delusional
assumption.

Please enlighten us with evidence that Scott is lying. He's a regular
poster here and doesn't come across as a liar. I thought it strange because
you seem personally offended by what he had to say. That is why I implied
that you might have some ties to the site in question. You said you aren't
and I'll take your word for it but I have to wonder WHY you are so offended?

No, I do not have a "vested" (monetary) interest. I am just a fan. I
disagree with you philosophically that I should allow a lie about
censorship go unchallenged.

There are much bigger lies being told in this ng but I haven't seen you on
any truth campaigns against the perpetrators. Something smells very fishy
about this exchange....

I think he's Tom Cruise.

At this point I don't think anybody believes you, or at least they've
read what I said, so my mission is accomplished. Maybe someone here
who actually thinks Nadal wasn't tired will post that in the
Australian Open thread there, and then post the link to it here. And
then what would you say - they don't like your name and they're
picking on you???

The back story is Nadal just came off a record long match 2 days
before, and Roger had a much shorter match, plus an extra day of rest,
and it was written about at major news sites that Roger had a very
good chance in an extended match due to Nadal's recent long one.
"Scott" was claiming the moderators of that forum don't want the topic
pursued there that Nadal wasn't even tired in the 5th set.
I 'give a crap' that he is claiming censorship, when someone who
doesn't know better might take it seriously.

Do you have a vested interest in this website? If not, I would say just let

there was no existing thread on the subject of Roger's ROS. so,
unfortunately they had no cause to freeze my post.

I agree with you that they are trying to keep their forums
"manageable". Just as 'manageable' as if Stalin ran it.

You said " I mentioned that Rafa showed no signs of fatigue in the
final.
Apparently you can't make that statement in RF's forum. Like the
Stalinists they are, they just took my remark out of the post. "

You CAN say Rafa showed no signs of fatigue. So you are lying. And
you know that. (Put that comment in an existing relevant thread and it

There is a rule at those forums to not start a new thread if
there's an existing thread about the subject matter, because there are
so many fans posting, to keep things manageable. Such a new topic
will get deleted. That is not censorship. You say "I mean,
supposedly I can't post a new thread when they've got a general
discussion going..." That indicates they told you EXACTLY why they
deleted it.
As for non-productive bad mouthing, I would expect them to delete
that, to maintain the integrity of the forums, as the real fans don't
want to be distracted by that, and want to talk to other real fans
about things that interest them.
-
A post saying you think Nadal didn't show signs of fatigue would
NOT be deleted if posted in a relevant, existing forum - specifically
the one about the Australian Open, and also other ones, such as his
game in general.
If I believed Nadal actually wasn't fatigued I would post that
there just to prove to you and anybody reading this that it would stay
there.
You are creating and spreading a lie.

Your post is a LIE. Period.
There is a thread there titled "IS THE GOLD MEDAL MADE OF GOLD?! WILL
ROGER BE ABLE TO LIFT IT UP GIVEN HE IS FAT AND LAZY?!"
This thread has 740 posts from 8/16/2008 to 1/27/2009.
I should point out that I didn't see any actual negativity while
sampling a few of those messages, but if there was censorship there,
that thread would not be there.

Federer is among the 3 greatest players ever. And I believe what he
will do in the next 3 years will make an argument that he is the
greatest ever. Mono can cause fatigue for many months after you get
it. Federer's serve was off at the AO do to holding back to prevent a
back injury. He will be 100% soon, if not already, and he will be
again steamrolling the competition on hard courts and grass.

I didn't say that. The forum is run by people who want to keep it
stupid and unreadable.

when they REMOVE my (non-libelous) remarks about Rafa five minutes
after I post them, it suggests they won't allow the forum to be of any
interest to real tennis fans.

Exactly - why would you venture into a place that's guaranteed to have scores

no kidding... some of them border on being psychos.
here's an example (go to page 32) -
http://www.rogerfederer.com/en/rogers/news/newsdetail.cfm?uNC=3D60591368&uP=
age=3D32&uNewsID=3D867

this from a poster 'brian999666', (amusing to see someone using the
devil's number in his id) -
" it's an unreal and. and amazing thing that. that there are pictures
of you and. egyszer=FBen valami hatalmas dolog. that there are pictures
of you and if man i mean people look at it, see it then it's feelable
you. i don't know the name of it i'm sorry. but this, this is unreal.
not real. in real life Roger Federer must have huge warm hearted inner
energy circle or. aura or energy field i'm not good at these things,
huge inner thing full of feelings not just love, love too pain too
will, strength and everything, how huge can it be if man feels the
warm heart of him through a picture. can't find words. can't find
words. "

then a poster named 'federerworshipper' responding to it -
"Brian999666: I think I understand what you are trying to say because
I feel it too. Roger's face even in a picture, emits a glowing warmth,
like when the sun peeks thru the clouds on cold spring day. It comes
from his not being representative of any race.. he looks UNIVERSAL,
people relate to him no matter where they come from. His looks are
disarming, his smile is child-like, bites his lip and looks adorable
doing it when he serves, not to mention his immense talents and
athleticism. The man is a God.
I ALSO THINK THAT YOU AND I MUST BE VERY LONELY:) lol
I am a widow, what's your excuse:)
Take care..
Grace."

that place is a hang-out for maniacs.

it's curious how RF.com removed what I said about Nadal not showing
any signs of fatigue. I mean, supposedly I can't post a new thread
when they've got a general discussion going with hundreds of fanboy
posts. That doesn't necessitate surgically deleting the suggestion
that Rafa is a roids user.

those Stalinist bastards at RogerFederer.com suck.

my impression is that Mirka occasionally looks in there. Hence the
Stalinists editing and locking my post just minutes after it shows up.

that forum is filled with noise; i.e., they take fanboyism to the
limit. This seems to be the design of the people who control it.
that forum is stupid and unreadable on purpose.

Disgusting posts ? I don't make disgusting posts. I am a truth seeker.
I always speak the truth. It's impossible for me to lie. It's against
my nature. But, I guess sometimes the truth itself is disgusting. In
that event truth trumps disgust and I can't help it.

I see, I thought the site has many specific threads for different
topics.
Anyway, I don't think the players (Federer in this case) read any of
the posted stuff.

it was like 600 posts long, filled with noise to the hilt (e.g., I
love you Roger!). Any post I make in that particular discussion is
quickly missed.

i just wanted to start a thread about Roger's BH return, just like i
did here. The Blackshirts at RF.com swiftly edited my comments about
Rafa and instantly shut the thread down.

Never been a fan of censorship - but why would they take out a post
that said Rafa showed no signs of fatigue? Isn't it better for Fed to
lose to a fit Rafa than a fatigued Rafa?

I hear Rafa is coming out with a new line of perfume ......

The fragrance is to be called:

EAU DE BULL BOTTOM

Each sachet is unique and made from his own "personal essence"
freshly "picked" while on court playing a real ATP tennis match !

Each bottle will be engraved with the date, match, set, game and point
of the "picking" so that the buyer can watch on video the exact moment
of harvest which will enhance the nasal exhuberance with a visual
"hit" as well.

Better run out and get yours today Rafa fans because supply is limited
as only a finite number of "pickings" can be made per match.

Dirt ass cheap at only USD$ 99 for a "strong" 1 ml sachet(*).

That's enough to get you through watching a complete 5 setter at his
next slam final while smelling just like Rafa !

It's the next best thing to having him live in your living room !!!

Don't delay and be disappointed. Demand is already exceeding supply.

EAU DE BULL BOTTOM is :

Best when used as directed :

1. Remove clothing
2. Open sachet
3. Dip applicator into sachet and wet thoroughly
4. Apply to anal sphinchter using applicator
5. Replace clothing
6. Scratch your ass when Rafa scratches his during a match
7. Smell your fingers
8. Say ahhh Rafa that's you !
9. Say Vamos Rafa !
10. Repeat as necessary

* (Can be "diluted" with witch hazel if necessary to lower potency for
asthmatic Rafa fans)

i think Roger made a deal with the Devil. no one can post on his
forum anymore without the Brownshirts stepping in.

i don't think that this is the work of "self-appointed moderators".

Years ago, I used to subscribe to a several musical artists' mailing
lists. They were good for getting info on tour dates, etc., but I
eventually got disgusted with all of them (the lists, not the
musicians) for reasons similar to those you described.

There would always be at least a few Rupert Pupkin types on those
lists--self-appointed "moderators" who were fanatically devoted to the
artist and took it upon themselves to shut down any criticism of their
idol, real or imagined. Unfortunately, this is probably common on many
sites devoted to an athlete, artist, or personality.

Agreed, it's typical petty-bureaucrat behavior. There's plenty of
crap to deal with on usenet, but at least there's some freedom to

I's not just fan sites - It's all moderated sites. Control freaks are
attracted to the titles like "supermoderator" - "oh my, how important
you are!" - and they just don't feel fulfilled unless they are
throwing their weight around. That's why the PTB are gradually getting
rid of usenet. They can't bear any unmoderated discussion among the
plebs.

Yes I too have had a browse around there, it's a very scary place
indeed. Whilst most players fans forums tend to attract good-natured
