Subject: Tomic to face life ban?
http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,24993622-3162,00.html

They're talking about banning him from the Pro Tour, which is the ITF,
right? That's challengers etc

Would he still be eligible to play on the ATP Tour? (but how we he get
his ranking high enough for the ATP tour if he can't play
challengers ...)

They could give him wilcards to all Australian ATP events and AO like
they did now, and if he does well enough his ranking might be good
enough to get in other ATP events...

But life ban seems ridiculous.

They could also give him a wildcard to Roland Garros, australian and
french federation have an agreement.

Seems pretty harsh considering it's his crazy father's fault. You
can't expect a 16 year old to defy his father if the father is totally
whacko.

Yes, they need to be dealt with severely & nip it in the bud.

I'd give him 1 warning & if it happens again 2 yr ban. Nothing worse
than dickhead parents exercising their egos - enough is enough.
