The streak can't continue forever and it is a sublimely ridiculous
streak already!

Answer: rst will be no different than it is today! :-(

A lot will depend on when it happens. Any extension of Federer's insane
streak can only add to the legend. But he certainly seems to be having
more than a few lapses in concentration and the opposition may feel that
the time is right.

Nadal will surely want to live up to his #1 seed. The lazy talk that he
hasn't won a title after reaching #1 will strengthen if he fails to
reach the AO final.

Djokovic has the "never defends a title" title that he is trying to unload.

Everyone (except Federer?) has made Murray the man to beat at the AO. So
he has the burden of winning his first slam as the putative favorite.

Exciting times ahead!

It's not a streak if it includes losses.

Federer's fabled slam semi streak includes matches he lost.

Well, according to Whisper no one cares about these "qualified"
streaks and records as is, so I foresee little change. ;-)

Links?

But seriously, why bother referring to someone who spends untold hours
fighting a non-existent legacy? ;-)
