But grass is not really a surface. How good is Nadal on fast carpet?.
And Nadal has not won at USO - a fast hc surface. The AO is played on
a weirdo slow hc surface.

Impressive but I think the implication was major title wins at
youngest age? Lendl was still doubting himself at 22 while Nadal is
the undisputed king.

Of course what you take in your youth, you usually give away at the
other end of your career, so we'll see what game Rafa has at 28. I'm
not optimistic.

Lendl.

"After reaching his first top-level singles final in 1979, he won
seven singles titles in 1980, including three tournament wins in three
consecutive weeks on three different surfaces"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Lendl

And those were the three prominent surfaces of the 80s, carpet, hc and
clay. Until now he is the only one to dominate all those 3 different
surfaces.

Wow, Rafa? Really. Wow.

Wilander didn't win a Slam on hard court until he was 24. So I would
think it's Rafa.

What's the question? Tournament titles? Slam titles?
