Changing cues is a nightmare for professional snooker players - most
pros play with the same cue for their entire careers. Every cue is
slightly different and getting used to a new ones can take months if
it ever happens.

Stephen Hendry hasn't ever been the same player since his cue was
broken a few years ago and he had to play with a new one.

To deliberately break a cue you have played with for years is
insanity, and to win a top tournament with another one is amazing ...

I don't think he gave the cue away he wanted to smash the damn thing
up again in a few months (Cause he likes doing that...) Really is
amazing that he can beat so many good players with a new cue..

Selby should have won at least 3 frames which went to Ronnie. But this
match was won by Ronnie cause of sheer determination and not on talent
only (which is probably a first for him)

i was wondering Djokovic has changed rackets do you think changing
rackets or changing cues is that much more difficult? Is it easier to
change a racket than to change a cue?

Ronnie was lucky to win - did not play that well and Selby gifted him
a number of frames. However, considering he was playing with a
different cue after smashing up his old one it was a pretty good win.

That cue should be pretty famous - he's given it away to someone after
winning and is looking for a permanent one now so the guy has a cue
which was used in the Masters and no other tournament and never lost!

Federer's not on until the morning UK time.
