Tough question. If I were in Federer's shoes maybe I would be a far
more secure, modest person, that didn't have to derive a sense of self-
worth by resorting to R.S.T trolling. On that basis, I might actually
praise Murray a lot more than he has.

He said the same thing but in different order and context. btw, would
you put the same exact words if you were asked the same question by a

Look, I did not like that much what Federer said, but then I imagined
being asked the same question and I was Federer or Nadal, I found it's
very difficult to just let the question pass without saying that it's
not only Murray there, because it's the truth. how can you ignore the
entire field, including the #1 (five slams), #2 (13 slams), etc to say
that Murray is the favorite to win.
It's just a stupid question that has no way being answered except the
way Federer did.

If Federer had any brains he'd say Murray is hot fave to pile the
pressure on.

All that matters is holding the trophy - no one gives a fuck who was
sizzling fave.

Fed is just trying to wind Murray up and rattle him is all. Good
tactic.

How about something along the lines of: "Murray has been playing well
enough to be considered a favorite and he did make the final of the last
HC slam. Nevertheless, winning a slam is difficult for everyone and the
first slam is in some ways the hardest."

It was fed who started getting all offended about murray being labeled
as the bookies favourite... and fed just can't take it. Remember when
he also complained about being reffered to as the "world number 2"
when he was coming out to play.... I remember he said "no.1 or grand
