making up excuses (Djokovic) or putting a half arsed effort up and
swallowing double bagels (Del Potro)

the jury is out for this one...

Djokovic' excuses are by far the worst.

This only indicate that the current young guns except Nadal are the true
clowns. In
Federer's era guys like Hewitt and Roddick at least put in decent
performance and tried
hard despite the odds were against them when they played Federer. Now we
just saw the worst
performance in a QF of a grand slam by a world no.8 and a quitting effort by
a grand
slam defending champion.

Quarterfinal and world rank 8... How about finalist and world #1...FO 2008.

He got to the final didn't he ? Or how was Nadal's effort against Tsonga in
AO last year ?
Tsonga on hard court wasn't exactly Nadal on clay court ? What was the
scoreline TT ?

A huge beating is more likely at QF than in the final.
